About these terms
These terms apply to custom engraved plaques and control panels ordered through Engrave Spec. Please save or print them with your order confirmation. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
Custom-made goods and cancellation
Each product is made to the dimensions, wording, cut-outs, symbols, layout and other information approved by the customer. Custom-made or clearly personalised goods are normally excluded from the 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right. Contact us immediately if you need to cancel. We may agree to cancel before production begins, but once manufacture has started a change-of-mind cancellation may not be possible.
Your design and conformity information
You must check all wording, dimensions, ratings, serial numbers, manufacturer details, symbols and layout before adding a design to the basket. Engrave Express manufactures the physical plaque or control panel from the approved artwork. You remain responsible for the accuracy of technical information and for having authority to use CE, UKCA, UKNI or any other regulated mark. Availability of a symbol in the designer does not certify a product or establish permission to use it. For control panels, you must check every finished dimension, cut-out diameter or rectangular size, centre position and mounting-hole position against your components and enclosure.
Price and payment
The price shown in the basket is the total price for the selected quantity and includes standard UK postage unless the checkout clearly states otherwise. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and we send or display an order confirmation.
Production and delivery
The current production target is dispatch within 5–10 working days after payment and artwork approval. Control Panel orders receive a manual manufacturability review before production. If a design cannot be manufactured as approved, we will explain the problem and offer a revised proof where practical. Production will not begin until any revision is approved. If no workable revision is agreed, the affected Control Panel order can be cancelled and refunded. Unless a different period is agreed, goods will be delivered within 30 days. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed where delay is caused by incomplete customer information, postal disruption or events outside our reasonable control.
Faults, damage and incorrect goods
Contact us promptly with the order reference and photographs if a product is damaged, faulty, materially different from the approved proof or not received. Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we may repair, replace or refund the affected goods. Customisation does not remove rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.
Artwork and production files
Customer artwork is used only to prepare and fulfil the order, provide account features and deal with support or disputes. Do not include unnecessary personal, confidential or third-party information. You confirm that you have the right to supply uploaded logos, text and artwork for this purpose.
