Common questions

Before you start designing

The designer guides the layout, but the customer must verify the technical information placed on the plaque.

What is included in the £12 price?

One custom plaque in the selected laminate colour, produced from the approved design, with free standard UK postage. The current online price applies to plaque sizes available in the designer. Contact us before ordering unusually large quantities or work needing specialist preparation.

Can I use CE, UKCA or other conformity marks?

The designer makes relevant artwork available, but that does not establish entitlement to use it. The manufacturer or other authorised party must confirm the product has completed the required conformity process and may legally carry the mark.

Can I upload my own logo?

Yes. SVG artwork gives the cleanest production result. PNG or other raster artwork can also be uploaded, but may require production review if the resolution is low.

Do I need an account to order?

No. Guest checkout is always available. An optional account lets you save finished designs, reopen them later and amend model or serial-number details from another device.

Can the plate be used outdoors?

The current laminate range is offered for indoor and outdoor use. The customer should still consider the exact environment, including unusual heat, chemicals, abrasion or prolonged extreme exposure.

Can you reproduce an old or damaged data plate?

Yes, where the customer is authorised to reproduce it and supplies the correct information. A photograph can be used as a layout reference, but all technical details must be checked and approved before production.
